Senior Tax Advisor

Summary of the job profile:
• Assist BU’s in tax audits, inspection
• Take part in as tax advisory roles on company projects and ad-hoc tax issues
• Support BU on the execution of Group tax planning KPI
• Support BU for compliance with local tax regulations
Key Tasks:
• Keep track of changes in tax regulations and inform BU to ensure tax compliance policies and procedures are established
• Perform quarterly reviews of selected accounting books to ensure compliance and issues are corrected before tax audit/inspections.
• Assist BUs in tax audits and inspection
• Maintain Tax database (collecting quarterly and annual tax reports and fill in tax database; also store any letters and communication between BU and tax offices)
• Analyse new transactions, projects, contracts, company set-ups, etc and advise on tax impacts and requirements
• Support working with Tax Authority to solve a pending problems and get information for problems that have not specifically instructed.

Education/ Training Qualifications
• University/college degree in Finance & Accounting.
• Tax training/Certificates (if any)
Experience
• 4-5 year experience in the same position
• 4-5 years experience in using the accounting system.
• Experience working in the Tax practice of Big 4, Tax & Accounting consulting firm is a big plus
• Strong writing Official letter, writing policy, flow chart, dashboard skill.
Knowledge of:
• VAS
• Local tax regulation
Skills (Ability to):
• Good in English, Good in MS office (Word, Excel) and accounting system
