OB OVERVIEW
Senior PR Specialist is responsible for managing the relationships between Easy Credit and external parties to enhance its popularity and trustworthiness; posses creativity and knowledge of different tactics to identify and engage the appropriate target audience; build a strong communications network around the company that will ensure good relationship with the general public and manage the response to ‘crisis’ situations. PR Specialist is also responsible for generating content that informs employees about the objectives and policies of the company and the measures it is taking to ensure its path of growth. They may accomplish this through publishing newsletters, e-mails, fliers or memos; updating bulletin boards or calendars of events; and managing other tools to produce print and digital copies of communication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
External Communications
- Draft regular proactive media initiatives including media releases, comment pieces, PR articles in order to increase the coverage of positive news of Easy Credit on media.
- Pitching stories to key media and following up to maximise coverage
- Weekly and monthly reports on media and other activities
- Manage day to day press liaison with journalists whom we work on a regular basis.
- Maintain and update a database of media contacts.
- Working with Sales/ Analysis and research analyst to conduct research serving for press release purpose.
- Assisting with identifying appropriate external communications opportunities for companys senior management
Internal Communications
- Work with other department to publish timely company information, such as memos and internal news letter
- Plan & implement internal engagement activities for staffs, such as townhall, charity events…
- Manage internal communications activities at the country level to ensure a useful, relevant, sufficient information will be delivered to all - employees via internal channels and ensure the engagement of employee.
- Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization’s strategic vision
Event Planning and Execution
- Organize press conference, media luncheons, press tours, CSR activities…
- Arrange and facilitate one-to-one Interviews between media and company’s representatives
- Develop media opportunities around events such as visiting executives, company awards or special announcements.
Business News Monitoring
- Identify researches, monitor the market dynamics and Easy Credit on daily basis and keep managerial levels informed.
Risk Management
- Develops risk assessments and crisis management plans, and implements them to protect company’s reputations
