Technical Engineer

• Support the Regional Technical Manager for the technical support of all product groups within the project specification market (Drywall, Ceilings and accessories).
• To develop advanced specification and detailing to demonstrate how to construct each of the systems, support and monitor the specification document base on Project Sale team’s requirement: spec, drawing, detail, quantity take off, submission…
• Specification for external manufactured products, i.e. gypsum, metal, screws, tape, jointing… to be created, agreed, monitored and maintained in relation to change in standards and needs.
• Products and system expertise – gypsum, metal, cement boards…
• Technical issues solving and advising.
• Technical inputs and advice for communication tools.
• Product and system testing, monitoring and control quality of all product changes and tests linked to Operation team.
• Responsible for the accurate and timely management of complex drawing approvals and substantiation for each submission.
• Accompanying the Specification and Project Sales personnel to any Consultant or Contractor visits in support or major project specification and tender.
• Responsible for the safety aspects within the area of own responsibility particularly around site safety and safe driving.

• Bachelor Degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Professional Construction / Technical Qualifications.
• Practical and logical knowledge of construction products and building systems (gypsum board, ceiling and drywall is an advantage).
• Construction market experiences: site supervision, site inspection method, building regulation.
• Strong communication skills to explain, teach and demonstrate technical detailing and construction methods.
• Customer Focus, customer service mindset.
• AUTOCAD, AUTODESK, BIM …
