The Commercial Finance Business Partner will work in partnership with Commercial Stakeholders (mainly Sales and Marketing departments) across the business to support for a profitable growth strategy. He/she will also work closely with other members of the Finance team, in particular Local Finance, Costing team, FSSC, IT, IC. His/her objectives are to maintain finance systems and controls in place and to ensure the implementation of good practice in commercial proposal development throughout the organisation (Company & FGM South) and provide real time support and analysis in order to assist in decision making.
- Take ownership of the Pricing and Margin model and ensure its appropriateness across the functions/BUs
- Be in charge month-end closing & reporting cycle and financial plans/budget process
- Oversee the reporting against agreed KPI for commercial finance demonstrating the value added to the business
- Be responsible for rebate/ promotion review/ recommendation/ credit limit/ credit term review/ debt provision & relevance
- Build the drafting of key policy documents to ensure full compliance to the organisations rules and regulations governing transactions
- Deliver Value for Money and enhance reporting approaches for use in strengthening commercial tenders and improving transparency of results
- Contribute to financial projects as part of the overall finance function
- Build and maintain relationships with internal clients in order to develop tools and provide support for any product orientated development
- Be highly responsible for providing accurate and timely finance information, meaningful analysis/recommendation to support for decision making
- Proactively propose & take action for performance improvement ideas to maintain data accuracy & data availability
- Bachelor/ Master’s degree specialized in Finance/Controlling
- Proven experience in working with Commercial functions, business partnering
- Experience of financial planning, monitoring and reporting process
- Experience of developing and optimising accounting and planning applications
- Interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- People skills to implement change programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, in particular advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint
- Strong sense of ownership to drive business beyond its potential
- Self-motivation and high accountability for own actions
- Ability to work under high pressure and flexible business environment
- Good in speaking and writing in both Vietnamese & English
