To ensure safe working conditions are designed and standardised into any changes in working practices, new machines and equipment.
To identify continuous improvement projects by working with local management, proposing any changes in working practices, new equipment and plant development.
To provide detailed problem analysis for engineering solutions to maintenance problems in conjunction with production management and operators.

2. Co-codinate with other department to works together and ensure achieve target
To create detailed, descriptive plant shutdown schedules, which secure the total on going support and contribution of the plant management team.
To support the manufacturing team in the review of successful performance and countermeasures.
To develop and implement energy management systems leading to reductions in operations cost.

3. Manage maintenance system
To structure, train and personally supervise a planned maintenance system which includes, as minimum, use of condition monitoring, eradication of the causes of repetitive equipment failure, visual inspection and routine ‘’pre-failure’’ itemised replacement which will result in maintaining least cost operations.
Update and modify maintenance calendar
4. WCM programme
