Barista - Food Service

• Commercialize / start-up products
• Create and manage specifications: Source, Process & Prepare green coffee beans (raw material) for popular Vietnamese coffee blends
• Consult café shops for new coffee concepts: hot/cold beverages, espresso drinks and blended
• Conduct workshops, train customer staff about application of Olam coffee products
• Demonstrate the use of retail equipment, such as grinding, espresso machines, Phin
• Prepare and pack coffee bean purchases for customers for different roasting profiles ( light, medium & dark)
• Conduct bench top experiments for new coffee concepts
• Work collaboratively with Packaging, Quality, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Finance
• Design and lead plant trials to commercialize new product and work towards quality and cost saving initiatives

• Understand popular Vietnamese coffee blends (Moka, Culi, Traditional, Phin coffee)
• Understanding of Vietnamese tea blends
• Understanding of green coffee cupping
• Experience in roasting coffee (light, medium, dark) in high volume experience with coffee making equipment
• Retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience preferred
• Working knowledge of all forms of coffee and standard beverage recipes
• Able to read and speak fluently in English language
