(Senior) Planning Manager

To manage the planning operations from the forecasting stage through demand management, production planning, material planning and primary transfer from plant to DCs.
• Responsible for organizing and executing the all the planning activities.
• Responsible for the timely and accurate release of the monthly production outlook, production plan and weekly production schedule. This job includes drawing-up the plans in a manner whereby capacity utilization and plant productivity are maximized, while, simultaneously ensuring that product availability across markets is in line with the accepted demand of both Home Trade and Exports.
• Responsible for co-ordination with Marketing, Sales, Process & Technical, Production and Manufacturing to ensure that the currency of the plan for the ongoing month is protected. Make weekly updates and facilitate course corrections, whenever required.
• Responsible, along with the Purchase Manager and the Warehouse Manager, for ensuring that the inventories of finished goods, raw materials and packing materials, across the country are as per agreed norms.
• Responsible for converting production plans into executable material plans, in close co-ordination with the purchasing manager, and monitoring the receipt of materials in line with plans.
• Responsible for providing all planning support to the co-packing operation – advance information of plans.
• Responsible for ensuring uninterrupted and timely supplies to Exports, coordinating with them and keeping them informed of the status of their orders, prioritizing with the plant if required, and ensuring the final dispatch.
• Responsible for achieving agreed Key Performance Indicators
• Responsible for liaising with Sales & Marketing, Purchasing and the Plant for the speedy execution of new product launches and promotions.
• Responsible for developing competencies in planning team.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
LOCATION: CJ Building, District 1, HCMC

• Bachelor Degree or higher in Business Administration or related major
• At least 5 years of experience in similar position
• Good command of English
• Strong, independent working style
• Leadership skill
• Experience in manufacturing/ FMCG/ MNC companies is a plus
