Production Planner

* Determine and confirm delivery dates for customer’s sales orders and intercompany demand for finished products and sub-assemblies following SBS procedure:
- Verify and align short term capacity with line managers to meet demand,
+ Know capacity of designated production lines – general and bottlenecks,
+ Know what resources production need to spend to meet short term demand peaks,
+ Negotiate with production to balance between meeting customers’ demand and meeting internal KPIs in coordination with superiors,
- Verify and align RM delivery schedule with purchasing to meet demand,
+ Know lead time of major components for designated production lines,
- Coordinate necessary resources for sample/prototype production with sample engineers,
- Proactively start dialog with customer service team to provide information concerning expected changes of delivery dates in case of constraints, suggest and coordinate recovery plans in coordination with superiors,
- Monitor customers’ forecast for designated production lines and proactively react to significant positive and negative variations,
- Translate customers’ forecast into RM demand for designated lines and proactively inform purchasing team about upcoming demand changes to avoid shortages and overstock.
* Create production plan according to demand and available resources
- Create short/mid-term production plan which uses available production resources in an efficient way,
- Create and schedule production orders for finished products and sub-assemblies,
- Monitor and optimize level of WIP and FG/SA stock,
- Establish medium and long term capacity / production plan in close cooperation with BDM,
- Adjust production plan in case of resources constraint
* Monitor realization of production orders in close cooperation with production managers
- Control the status of realization of production orders,
- Participate in production meetings,
- Initiate corrective measures when deemed necessary
* Measure, analyze and initiate corrective actions for specific KPIs, including but not limited to:
- Delivery performance,
- VMI performance,
- Lead time performance,
- Order confirmation performance.
* Monitor and maintain specific ERP parameters, including but not limited to:
- Forecast entry and horizon,
- Optimization of parameters to enhance cooperation between departments.
* Skilled in planning of designated production lines
- Can stand in for any other planner when deemed necessary after short training

* Education: College/ University degree with some related major.
* Knowledge:
- Understanding of manufacturing, management systems and production support
- Can use Microsoft Office, ERP systems
- Good at communication in English
- Accurate, careful, focused on details, open minded, hard-working
* Experience: At least 2 years working experience in supply chain environment, manufacturing company, working with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics, SAP
