Collection MIS Supervisor

Location Ho Chi Minh City
Key objectives
Develop and supervise development of regular, robust and accurate reports. Build data marts and provide insights vital for collection process management and performance reporting in a dynamically growing financial company.
Duties and responsibilities
1. Development and delivery of regular automated reports of collection performance based on SQL database
2. Manage a train and supervise collection analyst in building data marts and regular reports
3. Supervise delivery of ad-hoc analyses aimed at actual problems being faced
4. Drive deep-dive analysis to identify collection process improvements and existing issues
5. Provide necessary technical analysis and support for risk control and collection operation.
6. Build structured data marts in risk database supporting other analytical work of the team.
7. Effectively communicate analytical insight to other parts of business

Requirements
Education/Experience
1. University graduate with major in Information Science, Mathematics, Technology or Business Administration
2. At least 4 years of experience in analytical job working with SQL and Risk/Collection databases
3. Understanding of risk modeling using ML techniques
4. Knowledge of collection processes and consumer finance business
Skills
1. Desire to learn new skills and apply it in practice of retail banking.
2. Analytical, structured and logical thinking.
3. Good communication skills. Fluency in both oral and written English is a must.
4. Knowledge of databases and SQL language, other programming language skills are of significant advantage.
5. Advanced in using MS Office, especially MS Excel. Knowledge of BI tools such as Qlik or PowerBI is an advantage.
6. Experience with statistical tools such as R or Python is desirable, but not required.
7. Reliable and diligent with attention to detail
