Collection MIS Analytics Manager

* Position overview:
Department/Section: Collection
Report to: Head of Collection
Location: HCMC
* Duties and responsibilities:
• Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance/financial metrics
• Take ownership of allocation, incentives calculation for Collections
• Collate, validate and derive relevant statistical data to monitor collections performance
• Identify, analyze and interpret trends in data collated for the purpose of decision making, providing projections
• Monitor and study business portfolio to see how it relates to risk segmentation and collections performance
• Drive collection process improvements from deep-dive analysis and advanced analytics
• Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze key operations and performance metrics
• Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting staff with comprehensive policies and processes
• Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting
• Coordinate with Risk MIS/Analytics, IT and other departments to ensure data availability, integrity and robustness of processes
• Generate MIS and reports as management requirement
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis, where required
• Recruit, train, develop and supervise subordinates

* Education/Experience:
• University degree in a field related to data, such as Information Technology/Statistics/Data Management
• 7 years of cumulative experience in Data Analytics & Strategy, with at least 3 years of experience in leading a team
• Extensive experience with statistical modeling techniques
• Experience with Collection, Loan
* Required skills:
• Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries
• Excellent skills in using MS Excel and exposure to other analytic tools
• Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions
• Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
• Must have a very good eye for detail and be quality driven
• Willing to learn with can-do attitude, quick learner
• Communication skills & team work spirit

• Fluent in English & Vietnamese
