Boarding House Supervisor

We are interested in speaking with enthusiastic candidates who preferably have experience working with young adults. However, this position is also open to new-graduated students who are fluent in English.

A vacancy exists for a Boarding House Supervisor, on a full-time or part-time basis
Candidates are expected to:
*Be a dedicated, professional and positive role model for Boarding School Students
*Supervise the boarding students outside of school hours and on weekend and evening excursions
*Be available to stay overnight at the boarding house for a few nights per week to assist with emergency students needs during the night
*Supervise the students’ social time and strive to provide an educational focus to all activities
*Oversee prep, meals, bed times, laundry and room tidiness within the Boarding House
*Oversee leave arrangements and ensure accurate records are kept
*Perform administration duties with accurate and confident computer skills
*Follow precise lock-up procedures for the boarding house each night
*Deal with medical concerns including the issuing and recording of basic medication, visiting the doctor or taking to and remaining with the student at the hospital
*Report the upkeep and maintenance of the building
*Liaise with staff and parents when necessary
*Display fluency in Vietnamese, as well as English conversational skills
*Have a working background with children or young adults, in a teaching, caring, or mentoring role or experience in residential care is preferable
*This position has potential to promotion towards leadership roles
